“But child, you are not yet in your homeland; so go, fortified by My grace, and fight for My kingdom in human souls; fight as a king’s child would; and remember that the days of your exile will pass quickly... I expect from you, My child, a great number of souls who will glorify My mercy for all eternity.”

Jesus to Faustina, Diary of St. Faustina, 1489

“Blessed are those whose strength is in You, in whose hearts are pilgrim roads.”
-Psalm 84:5

Spiritual Direction is simply a sacred relationship between two souls on the journey towards Heaven. It is a meeting space to discern the interior movements of the heart and grow deeper in union with God. The role of the Spiritual Director is to come alongside the Holy Spirit, who searches and knows the heart most fully, and guide the soul into deeper union with God.

During Spiritual Direction, the director may pause for a time of prayer, ask reflective questions, or provide wisdom to cast light. A Director is to help direct the soul on the path towards Heaven, removing any obstacles or roadblocks that may be hindering them, and providing encouragement to strengthen them in a life of virtue and freedom.

Spiritual Direction is for those who:

  1. Have a daily prayer life (at least 30 minutes of contemplative prayer/day)

  2. Frequent the Sacraments (Sunday Mass or more and monthly Confession)

  3. Striving for a life of virtue and actively drawing away from a life of sin

spiritual accompaniment

“The art of accompaniment teaches us to remove our sandals before the sacred ground of the other.”
Evangelii Gaudium, 169

We are all on a journey towards Heaven, our Eternal Homeland. Spiritual accompaniment is for any young woman who desires someone to walk with them in holiness, friendship, and freedom. It is a beautiful relationship that strengthens the other in prayer, a life of virtue, and a space to share in both the joys and sorrows, celebrations and discouragements that life brings.

Spiritual accompaniment is essentially the discipleship that Jesus lived out amongst His 12 Apostles. In the Gospels, we hear of Jesus forming them in prayer and right relationship with His Father. He encouraged them, wept with them, ate with them, healed them, and shared life with them. It is by mercy that God came down from Heaven to live among humanity and draw us to Himself, and it is with mercy that Kingdom Come cultivates encounter with the living God by making Him known through authentic relationships rooted in trust, love, and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

how we model spiritual accompaniment

authentic friendship

"“Being so affectionately desirous of you, we longed to share not only the Gospel but our very selves because you had become so dear to us.”
-1 Thessalonians 2:8

small groups

“It is not good for man to be alone.”
Genesis 2:18

We are made for relationship with God and each other. As Jesus often taught and loved His friends in small groups, we model Him by forming Bible Studies, prayer groups, and growing communities that lead us to fulfillment in Christ and connection with each other.

walk to wholeness

"Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Walk the path of mercy with another sister on the road to freedom, wholeness, and joy.

Jesus would oftentimes depart from the crowds to pray, renewing Him in His identity and strengthening Him in His mission given by the Father. It is in the silence of our hearts that God speaks.
